It is with a heavy heart we inform our friends and donors of the passing of Herman Krebs, Melissa Gaulding's husband. We are heartbroken for Melly and mourn the loss of a wonderful, talented, warm human being. Those of us who knew him were always taken with his humor, graciousness and love for Melly. He will be sorely missed and we hope he is safe, happy and no longer in pain. We want to thank all of our donors, organizers, and friends for the massive support that flooded into this effort, from the bottom of our hearts. We have been in awe of the generosity and heart shown by the members of this community. You are all angels and we thank you so much.
Thank you for visiting this site!We are happy to report that the response to this fund raising effort has been so overwhelming that Mel's immediate needs have been met. In about a week's time, we raised close to $20,000 (yes, it gives us goosebumps too), with help from folks like you. It's really quite amazing - it's like several hundred people in the community just dropped whatever they were doing and jumped in to help. We can't possibly tell you how great that makes us feel. Therefore we are not soliciting more contributions, although we are counting on people to complete their already-pledged donations. In the meantime, please send positive thoughts to Melly and Herman, and keep them in your heart. And thank you again for helping us!
